Completion of tender procedure
A few months ago, Stecol’s bid for the design and construction of a section of the S19 road was identified by the GDDKiA as the most advantageous. An audit by the President of the Public Procurement Office successfully completed in July this year meant that the PLN 570.73 million contract was approved to be concluded.
According to the contract signed on 26 July this year between Stecol and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, in addition to the approximately 22.3 km of dual carriageway, two road junctions will also be built („Kąkolewnica” in the vicinity of Grabowiec and „Radzyń Podlaski Północ”), as well as 4 bridges, 11 viaducts, 6 crossings for large and medium-sized animals, 9 culverts with a crossing function for small animals and access and local roads. Construction of the road is expected to take 36 months (excluding winter periods).
