Stecol will build a 23 km section of the S6 expressway on the section: Sławno – Słupsk
The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, with the participation of the Minister of Infrastructure – Andrzej Adamczyk and the government spokesman – Piotr Müller, signed a contract with Stecol for the design and construction of a 22.9 km section of the S6 dual carriageway expressway on the section: Sławno – Słupsk. Conclusion of the contract was made possible following the completion of the tendering procedure, the final stage of which was the inspection of the tender. Stecol will have just under two and a half years to complete the contract, including 10 months for design and 19 months for implementation (excluding winter periods).
The S6 expressway is a key route for northern Poland with a target length of over 360 km. It will connect Gdańsk with Szczecin, passing through cities such as Kołobrzeg, Koszalin and Słupsk. In addition to the main route, the project will involve the construction of four road junctions and associated infrastructure, the construction of access roads and emergency entrances and crossings, as well as the reconstruction of roads intersecting with the S6 route.
The signing of another contract means that Stecol is now executing four road construction contracts in Poland. In addition to the Sławno-Słupsk section there are: the construction of a section of the S14 road near Łódź (the contract is in its final phase of execution), the construction of a section of the A2 motorway between Mińsk Mazowiecki and Siedlce (technical preparations for the start of construction are underway, pending completion of formal procedures) and the construction of a section of the S19 expressway between Radzyń Podlaski and Międzyrzec Podlaski (design work and formal procedures are underway).
